FLATTERED APARTMENTS ALGARVE

Located just a few metres away from Tavira’s Old Town, Flattered Apartments Algarve consists of two holiday rental villas set in a Cistercian convent from 1509, converted and renovated by acclaimed Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura. The former convent, now a multi-residential complex including two saltwater swimming pools and beautifully kept outdoor spaces, faces the centuries-old Tavira saltpans, part of the Ria Formosa marsh ecosystem. Nearby are secluded pristine beaches and delicious local gastronomy.

The interiors of the two Flattered villas continue the understated contemporary luxury of the architecture. Natural materials including stone, linen and solid wood are used throughout, with many De La Espada products in oak and walnut timber including Solo Oblong Table, Duet Chair, Capo Dining Chair, Capo Lounge Chair, Commune Bench, Commune Stool and Trio Tables by Neri&Hu; Welles Table by Matthew Hilton; Kim Side Table by Luca Nichetto; and Companions Bed, Two-Seater Bench with Back, Bench and Stool by Studioilse.
