Painted HDF or MDF
HDF and MDF, fibreboard engineered for outstanding strength and durability, are painted then finished with a clear lacquer to achieve a rich, glossy surface. This finish seals the pores of the timber, forming a water repellent protection against everyday wear and tear. Please note: for 244 Nest lounge chair only, the surface of our painted HDF is eggshell rather than high gloss. For painted Tone Kids Chair and Tone Kids Table, and the painted details on Suu Bed, the surface is matte with a subtle texture. Care Instructions For daily maintenance, dust the surface. Use a damp cloth for periodic cleaning. If desired, a mild soap heavily diluted with water may be used to clean. Do not use spirits, bleaches or any other chemical cleaners to clean the surface. Prevention is the best protection against surface scratches. Use mats and coasters to protect the surface. Please ensure that direct contact with hot objects is avoided by using tablemats. Avoid spillages and do not use any corrosive products such as bleach anywhere near the timber. Any spillages should be wiped clean immediately. |
