De La Espada has had a prolific year, with the launch of 38 new
products and the announcement of four new designer
collaborations. Collaborating designers, Autoban and Matthew Hilton
have scooped up design awards, while we have redesigned our website to
showcase what has become a diverse collection of products.
New Website
The De La Espada website has been redesigned to include complete
product information for all four furniture ranges, De La Espada,
Autoban Built By De La Espada, Atlantico and Matthew Hilton, as well
as featuring wide format imagery and more intuitive navigation.

Awards
Matthew Hilton named "Designer of the Year" 2008
Elle Decoration named Matthew Hilton "Designer of the Year" at the prestigious British Design Awards. The award recognised his illustrious career to date, from designing for top global brands, to establishing his own brand, Matthew Hilton Ltd in 2007. Elle Decoration described Matthew Hilton's eponymous brand as "team[ing] tactile wood with strong, sinuous shapes for a vintage-modern feel... manufactured by wood specialists, De La Espada"
Autoban products honoured at Design Turkey Awards
The esteemed Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards presented Autoban designers Seyhan Özdemir and Sefer Çaglar with the "Good Design" award for One Armed and Woody chairs, and the "Superior Design" award for Bèrgere.
